Booking and applying

Send an enquiry with your move-in date and how long you want to stay. We reply with what is available and the price. If it suits you, we send an application form and a short document list. Once you are approved we send the lease to sign electronically, and your room is held for you from that moment.

No. You can view it in person, take a live video tour with us, or book without a viewing at all. If you book without seeing it, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from the contract for any reason and at no cost. We send you the withdrawal form together with your lease.

International students, exchange students, interns and young professionals. You do not have to be a student. We will ask for identification, evidence that the rent is affordable for you, and a confirmation of enrolment or an internship contract if that applies.

That is normal when you are arriving from abroad and it is not a reason to be refused. A blocked account, a scholarship confirmation, a guarantor outside Germany or prepaying the first few months all work. Many Munich landlords use a missing Schufa as a filter. We do not, because a record you have had no time to build tells us nothing about you.

Identification, one piece of financial evidence from the list above, and proof of your status if you are a student or intern. That is all. We do not ask for a tenant self-disclosure form, and we never ask about family plans, religion or health.

If the room is free and your documents are in order, usually within one to two weeks. Move-in dates are the 1st or the 15th of a month. If you need a specific date, say so in your enquiry and we will tell you what is possible.

Yes, in the rooms that are big enough. Shared rooms have two separate beds, two wardrobes and two desks, laid out so nobody is sleeping side by side. You both sign the lease and you both leave together unless we approve a replacement. Sharing costs less per person than any single room we offer.
